Giuseppe Chirco - Founder

Mr. Chirco immigrated from Italy in 1957 and became an American Citizen shortly thereafter.  Married 50 years in 2007 to Antonietta, they raised three children.  Always ambitious and focused on making the best of every opportunity, he found his passion in the construction trades, after a few years learning nearly every skilled trade, he became a journeyman trim carpenter.

While employed as a carpenter, he built his first custom home in Riverview, Michigan.  In the years to follow, he built and sold several more homes through out the downriver communities.

In 1976 he took a great risk by leaving the security of his employment to go into business for himself.  His dedication to detail and his drive to build the best home for the money, he quickly earned a reputation as a builder of choice.

Before Chirco Construction was Incorporated, Mr. Chirco had already built nearly one hundred homes.  In the years to follow he would build nearly one thousand, each to a very satisfied customer.  His passion and dedication continues and has embraced the business he established.

Anthony J. Chirco - President

Mr. Chirco is married to Angela and is raising two children.  As a second generation American, Mr. Chirco has inherited his father's passion for detail and has earned his own reputation as a very good manager.  He is dedicated to building on a superb reputation of high quality, well built homes, professional buildings and developments.

A graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Business Administration and Construction Management, Mr. Chirco started his career, as a manager with Security Bank and Trust before joining his father in the business in 1986.

Starting from the bottom and working his way up, Mr. Chirco, like his father before him has worked in every facet of the business, from laborer, superintendent, sales coordinator, quality controller, designer and operations manager.

A Family Business

Chirco Construction Company is foremost a family business.  Antoinette Chirco continues to assist with the bookkeeping and having earned her own right as a sharp business person, shares in the decision making.  Angela Chirco, a licensed Real Estate professional, with her background plays a vital role by assisting with the marketing, advertising, record keeping and high tech part of the business.

Shawn Lawrence, husband to the youngest daughter Maryann, plays a key role in the day to day scheduling and taking responsibility for warranty and maintenance issues for both the housing and office projects.  Mr. Lawrence is well qualified having earned his own builder's license.

Both of the Chirco daughters while raising their own families have been involved in the business.  Sam LoDuca, married to the other daughter Margie, is a licensed builder himself.  Each member of the Chirco family has professional experience and has made contributions to the business.

The Chirco family is blessed with ten grand children.  In the years to come, a third generation will be invited to take control of the future.  All indications are that the impressive reputation established a long time ago will flourish.
